World Environment Day

If I were a butterfly, I'd thank you God for giving me wings
...until the flowers dry up from global warming and I have nowhere to land
If I were a robin in a tree, I'd thank you God that I could sing
...until my trees are cut down and made into fax paper
If I were a fish in the sea, I'd wiggle my tail & giggle with glee
...until the oil spills and over-fishing finally caught up with me

But I just thank you God for making me, me.
