the Gong by night
These are my first attempt at night shots : I thought that rather than waiting to post my ultimate picture I should take you on my photographic journey...here begins my night shots!

I like the contrast of the beach at night - gives a slightly eerie quality.
i always find it difficult to do night city shots without the bright lights dominating everything (just able to make out the moving car lights which is fun). Good start on the night stuff - wonder what the next lot might look like?
That's a good point actually - re the lights dominating the skyline. It's funny, I was quite freaked out being out around Wollongong at night by myself :). Maybe next time I'll take a bodyguard with me and play with the different exposure times...see if I can master that skyline with some more time.
